To celebrate the latest Dean Koontz novel, 77 Shadow Street, Random House wanted to give his fans a whole other level of entertainment. Something beyond the staid book trailer. Something digital, something interactive, something immersive.

Mohawk came up with a 360-degree interactive online experience that brought 77 Shadow Street’s protagonist, the haunted Pendleton House, to ghoulish life. Our developers tapped into Facebook Connect, employed gaming mechanics, and animated on top of 360-degree video. Average user interaction was at an impressive 8 minutes.
