In Los Angeles, once a year the excitement of the film community reaches its apex as all eyes are on the Academy Awards. QVC gets in on the action by throwing a glamorous party at the esteemed Beverly Hills Four Seasons. Mohawk’s task was to extend the excitement digitally through all available social media.
We built a branded microsite and installed multiple interactive photo-sharing kiosks for the event. These kiosks enabled attendees to take photos and instantly share their experiences via their personal newsfeed, allowing for hundreds of thousands of media impressions (and tons of fun pics). Users were also able to interact and manipulate their photos on a 40' x 10' video wall with Xbox Kinect.
Mohawk designed and developed the microsite, handled all photography and brand ambassadors and built the OS through Xbox Kinect.
