Miller Lite was a product-placement sponsor for the summer film The Internship, starring Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson. In order to maximize their partnership, Miller Lite wanted to do something big, and they did: by creating an internship of their own.
With the help of Mohawk Digital, Miller Lite hosted a Facebook competition to seek out four fans who could handle traveling cross-country as Miller Time Interns. The Interns would travel to seven cities, with each city hosting a unique assignment (for example, working as the pit crew for the Miller Lite Nascar Team). Along the way we shot seven reality-style webisodes with the interns as they got the job done and drank generous amounts of Miller Lite.
We were thrilled to be their production partners as we and our 11-person mobile crew covered over 3,500 miles of American highway, capturing a NASCAR event, two Major League Baseball games, the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders, the Miller Lite Brewery, and much, much more. And yes, we edited everything from the back of our Miller Time tour bus. Responsibility will never be the same.
